What is ‘gut conditioning?’


Simply put, it’s training your core to hold out when the going gets tough.


Gut conditioning doesn’t care about six pack abs (though it certainly isn’t a bad place to start) - it’s all about keeping solid and stable when you are exhausted.


It doesn’t matter what you are training for, form is often dictated by your gut. As soon as it breaks, the exercise won’t look pretty. Over time - this gets you injured.


Here coach Francis goes through 4 exercises that can help build an iron clad gut. You don’t have to use the weights - but either way - count your total reps and beat it next time you attempt it.
