Looks can be deceiving. We absolutely are home to some ‘intense’ looking pieces of equipment - and plenty of people that are capable of superhuman feats. However, we have people from all walks of life, ability and circumstance. What brings us together is the notion of wanting to be fitter/stronger and have a good time doing it. ABOUT COACH BEN WATERS

I’ve been training for over 20 years. That’s twice as long as I have been married! Even when life hits me —newborn baby, no sleep, a timetable that like a Rubik’s cub —I still found sanctuary in the gym. The weights didn't care how little sleep I’d had; they kept me grounded. The process of getting stronger didn’t just make my muscles grow—it made me better everywhere else in life. From wanting to look good, to being able to lift anything (and everything), I’ve shifted focus. Now, it’s all about being strong for life—so I can thrive, not just survive, and keep lifting heavy things along the way.

Here’s the thing: I’m not just into strength—I’m into solving problems. Whether it's in the gym or the office, I’m drawn to challenges. I get great satisfaction from helping others uncover solutions and make lasting, meaningful changes to their lives. It’s my thing. And when it comes to coaching, the strategy may differ from person to person, but the goal remains the same: I help people turn effort into action. Effort that works.

For the past 15 years, I’ve coached everyone from seasoned athletes to beginners, from corporate giants like HSBC to institutions like UCL. Wherever I go, I take the same mission: to relentlessly pursue progress and ensure every single session leaves you feeling stronger, fitter, and better. Because if you’re not seeing results, we’re not doing it right.

Along with years of study in everything from Barbells and Kettlebells to Weightlifting, CrossFit, and Mental Wellbeing. If it gets you stronger, I’ve likely studied it.

But more than any qualification or title, I’m most proud of my relationship with my clients. We don’t just get the work done; we make it enjoyable. My job is to take complex ideas, simplify them, and make them actionable. Anyone can do that, but only a few can make it stick and make it fun. And yes, we have a laugh along the way—because if you're not enjoying the process, you’re missing the point.
